The previous AI-301DA sounded great, but our engineers went further on AI-301DA-X, listening, adjusting and improving audio quality for a long time, and the final tuning was done in Europe. ICEpower's high-performance amplifier

The beating core of AI-301DA-X is a high-performance, high-energy-efficiency amplifier module from ICEpower, Denmark. With its intelligent energy management technology, AI-301DA-X can provide up to 60W + 60W output power.

Rugged aluminum body, which takes up little space

The compact and lightweight body (215mm wide, 254mm deep, 61mm high) allows you to place the AI-301DA-X in a very small space, such as a small gap on a TV stand or desktop. The exquisite aluminum volume knob and panel give it a natural sense of elegance, and the all-metal body structure can achieve excellent resonance suppression, thereby minimizing the adverse impact on sound quality.

 

Built-in Bluetooth™ receiver for wireless streaming

AI-301DA-X has a built-in Bluetooth™ receiver module and supports Qualcomm™ aptX® codec, enabling high-quality wireless audio streaming. Qualcomm™ aptX® achieves low latency and excellent error recovery, resulting in excellent sound and quality, making this codec the industry standard for wireless streaming. Moreover, in order to take advantage of iPhone/iPad streaming, it also supports high-performance AAC codecs.

 

Automatic start to detect digital signal
When the input digital audio signal is detected, AI-301DA-X automatically turns on, and automatically turns off when the signal is turned off. For example, you can turn on AI-301DA-X by turning on the TV to ensure that you can easily enjoy the enhanced TV audio.

32-bit BurrBrown PCM1795 D/A converter

In order to process a large amount of digital audio data in DSD128 and PCM 192kHz/32 content, a high-performance BurrBrown PCM 1795 D/A converter is used. Its 32-bit processing can transmit the fine details and sound depth from Hi-Res files, far beyond what you can hear from standard audio CDs.

Support DSD128 native playback

AI-301DA-X is equipped with a USB port that supports DSD Native playback. This can directly convert DSD signals into analog waveforms in ASIO2.1 and DoP formats without changing the PCM format. In addition, by referring to the more accurate onboard clock of AI-301DA-X, it also supports asynchronous transmission mode to achieve accurate data transmission. In addition, the free TEAC HR audio player allows users to play high-resolution files, such as DSD128 and PCM192/32, from Windows/Mac without complicated settings.

 

High-quality 100mW + 100mW headphone output stage
AI-301DA-X integrates TEAC's CCLC (Coupling Capacitor-less Circuit) into its on-board headphone amplifier. By eliminating capacitors in the output stage, it also provides 100mW + 100mW output. This innovation can Provides rich bass and fast transient response power (32 ohm load).

Traditional coaxial and optical digital input
In addition to USB audio input, it also provides traditional S/PDIF input. Coaxial digital input supports signals up to 192kHz/24bit, and optical fiber supports up to 96kHz/24bit.

Subwoofer pre-out 2.1 system
The subwoofer on AI-301DA-X allows you to connect an active subwoofer in a 2.1ch system to get extra bass, especially for TV sound enhancement.
